Come join us as we kick off our new Scripture Study, the Old Testament: Finding a Loving God. We are blessed to have Kevin Pease, Director of the Chicago Catholic Scripture School at Loyola University, returning to lead our virtual study. This round of classes will be broken up into three sections to accomodate our breaks for the holiday season. These micro-sessions are as follows: Seekers of God - Journey through the Book of Exodus [5 weeks], “O Come, Emmanuel” Advent Retreat [2 weeks], & Disciples of the Lord in the Year 2021 – Am I One? [3 weeks]. This course is designed for the average layperson. All are welcome. No prior academic experience necessary, just an open mind and heart.
You will enjoy this course if :
• You wonder how the Old Testament relates to the New Testament!
• You struggle with the image of an angry and vengeful Old Testament God!
• You want to better understand your life within the context and unique history of God’s Chosen People!
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at growdisciples12@gmail.com.
